Weee, not much going on at the mo, cept trying to redownload the FFXI Ultimate Collection. Went to see Paranormal Activity on Saturday, which was awesome even if it wasn't that scary apart from a few bits and there was Fail in the audience who kept screaming at every little thing. Ah well. The ending was pretty epic though, considering how abrupt it was.

ANYWAY, lol as there's no official Squeenix FF calendars..well I'm a dork and so I'll be treating you all to my Advent Children Advent Calendar. You ~~unfortunate~~ lucky souls, having the next 25 days to be enlightened with pretty pictures :p

Comment with a picture request (can be everything, also something I'm not familiar with --just provide references in case!) for a friend of yours and I'll try to make it for him/her as a Christmas gift.
It doesn't have to be a friend of mine or someome I know.

I'll post the gifts on this journal on Christmas (probably the night of December 24), feel free to redirect your friends here so they can take their gift ^_^ --Obviously I'm especting comments from them too (mostly to make sure that they do exist and you didn't cheat) >_>

I'm going to take 10 requests but you can keep asking... Hopefully I can draw some extra!

Some basic rules:

GIVE ME REFERENCE PICTURES. If you won't give me references I'll ignore your request.
Give me references ALSO if I'm familiar with the fandom; last year I wasted a 40% of my time looking for decent pics on the internet of characters I totally ignored.
When making your request provide me a link that proves your friend's existence. A blog, a LJ, a devART account, some posts over a forum or a community, everything will do.
No people in real life.
Last year I had to ignore some requests 'cause I wasn't sure of those guys' existence, and it ended up that they really existed, making me feel sorry XD
NO PORN, max of two characters.
Because of lack of time and work abuse, your pic will be in this style. No colors, then. But if you want you can color it yourself or ask someone else to do it.
This way I can be faster and hopefully accepting more requests <3
The comments are screened, so they won't be visible until I'll make them so. Avoid a thousand posts like "The comment didn't show up, so I'm writing it again!".

Writer's Block: Smoke screen

What are your feelings towards smoking? What rights do you think smokers and non-smokers should have?

Not a smoker myself. I have my own vices, cheers. Who doesn't?

I do not have a grudge against someone who decides to smoke. It's a choice they have consciously decided to make. Some drink, some take hard drugs, some smoke.

My only real beef with smoking is the mess they leave, which is more to do with the smoker not disposing of their litter properly. You have an empty packet of crips? Put it in the bin. Same goes for an extinguished cigarette. Hardly rocket science, is it? Trust me, the Grangemouth burn? Not a nice place to stroll anymore. The place is covered with cigarette butts and makes feeding the ducks a less pleasant experience now.

Having said that, I do tire of this big campaign against the evils of smoking when less enthusiasm is placed on similar habits like - say - drinking. In the immortal words of comedian Bill Hicks, "you can't kill someone in a car because you're smoking a cigarette."

I'm not expecting everyone to drop the ball and start bashing drink now, but at least acknowledge that one is just as bad as the other please. If smoking adverts are banned now, why not drink ads too? Why ban the glamourizing of cigarettes when alcohol commercials still air (not talking about the "Dangers of Booze" ones.)

It's not much of a story. Naruto is bickering with Sai again when Sai kisses him. Sai resembles Sasuke and Naruto misses Sasuke so much that he responds to the kiss. That's why it's both SaiNaru and SasuNaru. ;D

My first tribute to Itachi.

This song always reminded me of him. He had so much hope for the future that he gave up everything for that future. He wanted peace. But ended up being thrust into a world of violence, death, hate and pain.

So he placed all of his hopes on his brother.

And on his brother's 'brother'.

I'm not very good at drawing daytime stuff. So this sorta looked like it was nighttime.
